Another quarter heard from

Almost in answer to my plea for coherency amid the confusion, I find this article from Justin Raimondo at Anti-War.Com. Justin writes with passion but he also does his homework. Great job, man!

It's starting to look like the lesson to draw from this is that there are rogues and fools aplenty (both in government and outside but, it seems, mostly inside), and it's not all that important which particular rogue or fool screwed up the most. The smartest thing to do in a crisis is work directly with the people you know and trust -- your neighbors -- and don't look to government to save your cookies.

Scott, I do like the cartoon. I made a little animated GIF you might like to see. It's made from an AP (IIRC) photo. It's located here:

Feel free to do with it what you want.

I hope the URL didn't really wrap...

Oh, I stuck it down below too in the "web page" box.

Best, wes

I think that soon millions of Americans will soon be chanting "we're mad as hell, and we're not going to take it anymore (from the 1970's Jane Fonda flick). Agents of the state are stealing guns from its own citizens, and denying Americans their property rights: homes, liquor, pets, etc. Perhaps it's time to go into "midget-mode" or start a revolution (perhaps, both). ~ Awe'

Interesting gif, we, but what's up with that woman standing in the lower right corner? Looks like she has three legs.

Maybe there is something to the stories about Mengele-type experimenting going on in the South.

You said it all. I once heard that acquaintances will help you move from one location to another, but a friend will help you hide bodies. Therefore, friends are the only people to trust if you wish to survive and the smart man is able to tell the difference.
